Westside Crossing South Boston
Is Westside Crossing South Boston the nicest apartment building in South Boston? I think so, but I'm biased as our office is the exclusive marketing broker for the complex. The competition in the area consists of 50 West Broadway, Park Lane Seaport, West Square South Boston, and the Signal Building. As far as interior finishes, the only building that comes close to Westside Crossing is the Signal Building. Both of them feature high-end condo quality finishes. 50 West Broadway, Park Lane Seaport, and West Square are larger South Boston apartment buildings, and don't feature stainless steel appliances, granite/quartz countertops, etc. What they do feature are 24-hour doormen, and for Park Lane Seaport and West Square, in-house fitness rooms, which is definitely a desirable feature for some renters. Westside Crossing South Boston features hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, marble tile backsplashes, quartz countertops, iPod docking stations, 4-zone Russound systems, LED lighting, Nest thermostats, LED lighting, private decks for every apartment, in-unit laundry, and garage parking. These are typical finishes you find in South Boston condos, not South Boston apartment buildings. For this reason, I expect 339 D Street to be a desirable rental address for many years to come.
