Perhaps one of the most historic locations of the city, Chestnut Hill is home to the world-renowned Boston College and Boston College Law School. Lasell College, Hebrew College Mount Ida and Andover Newton Theological School are also located in the community.

An extremely family-friendly community, Newton has well maintained parks, bicycle and fitness trails, golf courses, a public pool and even a lake. The Newton Farmer’s Market, which runs from July to October, is also widely popular, as is the Norumbega Park with its expanse of paths, trails and beautiful scenery. A state-of-the-art, award-winning library is also found here in the neighbhorhood. If that is not enough, you’ll also find the Newton Symphony Orchestra and the Newton Philharmonic Orchestra of Massachusetts.
