Featuring a beautiful modern design overlooking Boston Harbor, you'll be in awe of the views from inside the museum. Then there are the innovative and fascinating exhibits of contemporary art, the gallery talks where you can listen to artists speak about their work, and the film screenings of thought-provoking cinema pieces. You can even grab a bite to eat at the ICA's Water Cafe.
Bring the little ones to the Boston Children's Museum. This extremely kid-friendly museum offers plenty of interactive and fun exhibits that will delight the entire family. Through play, kids will learn about science, culture, the arts, literacy, health, and the environment. Have dinner at Strega Waterfront. Get your Italian cuisine fix without traveling to the North End. Sit on the patio and enjoy the delicious food and drink right by the water. Portions are large, so make sure to come hungry!
Relax by Boston Harbor. Had a long day? Kick back and relax by the water, watching boats go by, taking in the sounds and smells, and watching the planes land across the harbor at Logan Airport.
Get ready for the new Seaport Square! This area is still in development, but it promises to be an incredible hotspot in the near future. New streets packed with shops will be created and buildings like hotels, apartments, restaurants, art galleries, a cinema, and even a performing arts center will be built.
