An interesting note is that the South End and South Boston have clearly been the most active markets in 2009 with 170 and 187 condos sold respectively. Dorchester, not shown here, was the only other neighborhood with over 150 condo sales. In most areas, prices and volume are down yet average prices in Back Bay are higher in 2009.
